KYB relies on the participation and enthusiasm of over 500 parent coaches and on the generosity of our volunteers.

Coaching youth basketball is a very rewarding experience and we encourage anyone who enjoys working with young people to apply. We are always looking for experienced coaches, but we also have resources to help train a newcomer.

If you are interested in coaching in our upcoming season, please print a copy of the Coaching Application Form and bring it to one of the two Registration events in September.

KYB's board of Directors consists of 40 volunteers who are committed to providing a positive experience for all of the children who participate in our league. Each year, the KYB Board works from early September until late February to organize and administer registrations, team formation, practices, games and, of course the KYB tournament in February.
